Serious zipper practice (birthday treat part 1)

Rascal is almost turning 4 (time flies!). He is going to say goodbye to his friends at daycare this wednesday and then start primary school. I started making the treats a bit in advance (no burning the midnight oil this time) and already sewn up a bunch of little pen cases for his daycare group using this tutorial. It's actually the second project I tackled that contains a zipper, so I did get a lot of practice. Still not my favourite thing to sew though. The pouches will be filled with homemade notebooks and stickers.
