Spring kids craft, clucking chicken

With Easter coming up and big rascal having a farm theme at school, we did some matching crafting at home. We made chickens. It's actually a very simple craft, but the result is fun and it makes sound!

Supplies:
empty cans
paper
paint
string
glue
hammer and a nail to punch a hole in the can

Punch a hole in the top of the can, make a knot in a piece of string and thread it through the hole. Glue a strip of white paper all around the can. Cut a comb, wattle and beak out of coloured paper and glue them on the can, paint the eyes and done! Now pull the string and your chicken will cluck. With some smaller cans and yellow paper, you can make a whole family.
